Getting Started

What is Paiso and how does it work?

Paiso is Nepal's #1 free expense tracker app designed specifically for Nepali users. It helps you track daily expenses, manage income, and record loans in Nepali Rupees (NPR). Simply create a free account, add your balance sources (Esewa, Khalti, bank accounts, cash), and start logging your transactions. Paiso automatically calculates your balance, generates reports, and provides downloadable PDF statements.

Is Paiso completely free to use?

Yes, Paiso is 100% free forever. There are no hidden fees, no premium subscriptions, no credit card required, and no in-app purchases. You can track unlimited expenses, income, and loans without paying anything. We believe financial management should be accessible to every Nepali.

How do I create a Paiso account?

Creating an account is simple. Visit paiso.amulya.tech, click 'Sign Up Free', enter your email and password, verify your email with the OTP sent to your inbox, complete the quick onboarding (add your name and balance sources), and you're ready to start tracking your paisa.

Features & Integrations

Does Paiso work with Esewa and Khalti?

Yes! Paiso fully supports tracking for Esewa, Khalti, and all major Nepali digital wallets. You can add multiple balance sources for each wallet and bank, then track expenses and income separately for each one. While Paiso doesn't auto-sync with these services for security reasons, you can manually log transactions to keep accurate records.

Which Nepali banks are supported in Paiso?

Paiso supports all major Nepali banks including NMB Bank, Nabil Bank, NIC Asia Bank, Global IME Bank, Prabhu Bank, Nepal Investment Mega Bank (NIMB), and any other bank you use. You can add as many bank accounts as you need as separate balance sources.

Can I track loans I gave or borrowed in Paiso?

Absolutely. Paiso has a dedicated loan tracker feature. You can record both money you've lent to friends/family and money you've borrowed from others. Each loan tracks the person's name, amount, description, and status (pending or settled). When a loan is settled, your balance is automatically updated.

Can I download my expense statement as PDF?

Yes, Paiso generates professional bank-style PDF statements that you can download anytime. You can filter by date (today, yesterday, this week, this month, or any custom date range) and download a clean, printable PDF perfect for record-keeping or sharing with accountants.

Does Paiso show charts and reports of my spending?

Yes, Paiso includes a comprehensive Reports page with visual analytics. See your monthly income vs expenses with pie charts, category-wise expense breakdowns, income source analysis, and detailed transaction summaries. Visit paiso.amulya.tech/report after signing in.

Mobile App

Is there a mobile app for Paiso?

Does Paiso access my bank accounts directly?

No, Paiso does NOT connect to or access your bank accounts, Esewa, or Khalti directly. We don't ask for any banking credentials, passwords, or API keys. You manually log your transactions, which means your sensitive financial accounts remain completely private and secure.

Can I delete my Paiso account and data?

Yes, you have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated data anytime from your profile settings. We follow GDPR-style data privacy practices.
